What class should I take?

There are many classes and events happening at Michaels every month. Demos, Make-It-and-Take-Its, and free projects are open to everyone. Try to take advantage of these, many are kid friendly.

There are so many classes, it can be overwhelming. I recommend after taking one class, leave yourself time to practice and make more pieces. Your technique will get better with each project.

For the absolute beginner I recommend the Fundamentals of Stringing. If you have made some pieces in the past but still want to learn basic techniques take the Fundamentals of: Crimping, Wire Wrapping, or Knotting. (In any order)     See Beginner Class List

Fundamentals of Crimping

If you already know how to do those and you want to expand your knowledge with more techniques pick any project that interests you.   See Intermediate Class List

Intermediate Stringing: Watches

Keep your jewelry interesting with our advanced classes. New tools and techniques that you customize.

We also offer kid friendly "Camp Chic" classes. The projects use simple tools and techniques to achieve professional results. At this store I am offering registration for two students at $25. A great way to spend time together and start a new hobby.
